Editor’s note:The 10th Nishan World Civilization Forum was held in Nishan, Qufu in July 2024. On this occasion, the editorial department of “Going into Confucius (Chinese and English)” visited Fang Xudong, a teaching from the Department of Philosophy of the Forum and the Department of Chinese and Eastern Masters. Teacher Fang once proposed “Analysis Confucianism” and was a unique sect in the philosophical world. During the interview, Fang Jie gave a detailed introduction to the origin and important characteristics of his “analytical Confucianism”, and expressed his own unique explanations of classical interpretations, current “study enthusiasm”, as well as the development of Confucianism and the future development of artificial intelligence. I’ll visit and clean up the publication to treat readers.
There is a scientific acumen behind “Analysis of Confucianism”
Li Cui: Hello, Fang Qi! Fortunately, I have such an opportunity to ask you some questions about Confucianism. Regarding the problem of the development of Confucianism’s artistic form, you proposed “analytical Confucianism”. Is there any special reason for proposing this concept?
Fang Xudong:In fact, “analyzing Confucianism” is often related to the shortage of Shandong. The first topic I mentioned was after attending the “Career Confucianism” international discussion organized by the Shandong University Teacher Huang Yusong in 2019. After the discussion was over, the publication of Contemporary Confucianism was about to visit me. It was during that interview that I proposed the concept of “analysis of Confucianism”. This is a storm.

Why should we mention “Confucianism in the analysis of the analysis of the Internet”? On the one hand, it is well known that when Delhi arrived in China in 2001I said: China does not have philosophy. In 2010, Li Zehou was interviewed by Shanghai’s reporters: “I think that the post-modernism has reached its peak in Delhi; it should be the time for the Chinese philosophy to be launched.” Later, his book was written, and the title of the book was still used – “Is the Chinese philosophy to be launched?” ——Li Zehou’s 2010 Talk Record. This is actually an ambitious task of Chinese philosophy, or perhaps it is not only for Chinese philosophy, but also for the entire Chinese ideological civilization field. On the other hand, after China entered the 21st century, academic research became more diverse, and the academic atmosphere became more lively, allowing the unrestrained thinking. Under such a large-scale environment, Chinese students, especially those who are Chinese philosophy, have a very self-conscious mind, which is to create a kind of academic statement. For example, Teacher Huang Yusong talked about “Career Confucianism”, Teacher Chen Lai talked about “Benevolence and learning intrinsic”, and Teacher Rong of Yang Guo talked about “Detailed Symbolism”, there are many other terms in this category. This is just like Huang Zongxi wrote “The School of Song and Yuan Dynasties” and “The School of Confucianism in Ming Dynasty”, and he said that academics must have a theme and be able to make a single statement. I think this lecture is very good. Therefore, we personally proposed or claimed to have an interest in constructing “analytical Confucianism” with such a view.
Li Cui:Why is the name “Analytical Confucianism”?
Fang Xudong: The name “Analytical Confucianism” includes whether to add a “” is “Analytical Confucianism” or “Analytical Confucianism”. In fact, these are not much different because the corresponding English is a word, analytic confucianism. This is also not difficult to think of the so-called “analytic philosophy”. The reason why I call this name is considered in two ways: on the one hand, I am familiar with Eastern philosophy and clear, and since I read and study, I began to prefer the research path of “analyzing philosophy”; on the other hand, I am because of the research on Chinese philosophy in China, the tide of great significance can still be based on phenomenon, including the “career Confucianism” mentioned by Teacher Huang Yutong. The discussion is very abstract, and it is a life and life as a symbol of phenomenon. My academic experience has made me more interested in the field of “analytical philosophy”. I also read a large number of books on this aspect when I was studying. After I graduated with a PhD, I had the opportunity to first go to Harvard to study the philosophy department, and then to Oxford to study the philosophy department. As we all know, these two are the main towns of philosophy in the English world, and the philosophy they talk about is “analysis philosophy.” Of course, in this “analysis”, what I am more interested in is “real ethics”, which is the traditional ethics and political philosophy.
Li Cui: Why use the word “analysis” to make a prelude?
Fang Xudong:To talk about this, there are still some traditions that can be traced back. I also mentioned this problem when I helped Teacher Chen Lai to do his interview before. The teachers all know that Teacher Chen Lai is a doctoral student of Teacher Zhang Dainian. The philosophy research of Zhang Dainian, the teacher of Zhang Dainian, was called “the materialism of analysis” that year. In fact, the English word for “analysis” is “anbearing womanalytic”, which is the same as “analysis”. Let me tell you a story here. There were two schools of Beijing and Qinghua in the later period. People like Hu Ying, Liang Shuming, Xiong Shili and others pay more attention to the originality of meaning and are closer to tradition. Later, the Qing Chinese scholars came to us as the “Qing Chinese School”, and the important ones were Jin Yuelin, Rong Youlan, Zhang Dainian, and later Zhu Bokun. However, after the founding of New China, Tsinghua carried out departmental adjustments, and in fact, there was only one philosophy department left in China, which was the Northern Philosophy Department. So at that time, many people from the Qing Dynasty Philosophy Department went north, and the students from the original Philosophy Department were dispersed. href=”https://www.blog-taipei.online/Jia/%e7%b5%90%e6%9d%9f%e9%97%9c%e4%bf%82%e7%9a%84%e9%82%a3%e5%a4%a9/”>Purchasing NetworkIt’s like Hu Xuan went to Taiwan, Xiong Shili stayed in Shanghai. Teacher Tang Yongtong, the vice president of divisional infrastructure in New Taipei after 1949. According to some meaning, he also gradually joined the front-line academic seminar. In fact, the Department of Northern Philosophy in Chinese philosophy has become the original Qing school of learning.

Simply put, the reason why I use “analysis官网” is a preview because I and Mr. Shin-lai’s academic experience in reading books. In fact, the academic discipline of Mr. Chen Lai is directly inherited from Mr. Zhang Dainian, while Mr. Zhang DainianThe teacher’s academic path is “analysis”. But at that time it was not called “analysis”, but “analysis”.
I just talked about the chief teacher of the Qing Dynasty, the philosophical research also has the characteristics of “analysis”. Of course, Master Rong doubled the integration of 官网, especially when he talked about “reality” later, he had his own set of philosophy. As for academic training, Teacher Chen Lai himself also said “analysis”. This important thing is influenced by Teacher Zhang Dainian, which is based on the basic skills of contracting contract. To use martial arts as an analogy, Teacher Chen Lai’s foundation was taught by Teacher Zhang, but after he graduated from his doctorate, he worked as an assistant to Master Rong’s teacher for a while, and received some lectures from Teacher Rong, especially those related to “realm”, so he later wrote “The Realm of Nothing”. But actually, the “Zhu Xizhe Research on the Study of Zhu Xizhe” (later renamed “Zhu Zizhe Research on the Study of Zhu Xizhe) in which he debuted has the characteristics of “analysis”.
Why should I emphasize this? Although Teacher Chen is not particularly talking about his relationship with “analysis”, in fact, I have had a secondary academic interview with Teacher Chen. Whether TC:
